Tier List Assumptions: All Limited S-Ranks are assumed at M0, Standard S-Ranks at M2, A-Ranks at M6, and Buffed/Potential Unlocked characters at P6. All Agents are evaluated with their best W-Engine equipped at W1 for S-Rank W-Engines and W5 for A-Rank W-Engines.

GENERAL INFORMATION

This is a tierlist that is more about character power and not the current meta. However, we do take the meta into account when deciding on the final placements of each character. So if some placements feel off compared to how good or bad a character is against the current endgame, it is most likely just because the current endgame cycle is good/bad for said character and not actually reflective on how good/bad the character really is.

This tierlist is also not for one endgame mode in particular, as all of them play mostly the same and don't warrant having separate tierlists. However, if there is a new mode added in the future that is different enough from the current modes, then we will make a list just for that one mode.

When deciding placements for a character, we will look for and account how hard a character is to play, as the harder a character is to play will have it be reflected as we place them, with the hardest characters getting an EXPERT tag. Although we take into account how hard a character is to play, we do still look at the character from the perspective of someone who knows how to play the character, but not from someone who is an expert at the character.

CATEGORIES & TAGS

  • Tier 0: Best of the best, the most powerful characters of each section and easiest to play. Generally easy to build and have cheap team options.
  • Tier 0.5: These characters have something that is keeping them out of Tier 0, but are still better than Tier 1. Can be seen as an extension of Tier 0.
  • Tier 1: Generally, characters that are now a bit outdated and don't hold up as much as the newer characters.
  • Tier 1.5: These characters have something that is keeping them out of Tier 1, but are still better than Tier 2. Can be seen as an extension of Tier 1.
  • Tier 2: Characters that are still usable, but have multiple things holding them back, from a lack of buffs to just doing less damage or having a simpler kit than new characters.
  • Tier 3: Weak and not worth using unless you really like the character.
  • Tier 4: Weak and not worth using unless you really like the character. Needs a lot of investment to be good.
  • Tier 5: Lowest tier, severely limited impact or niche role.
  • DPS - The main DPS of the team. Rupture agents, on-feild Anomaly agents, & main Attack agents.
  • Supportive-DPS - Secondary DPS characters who either provide anomaly from off-field or provides buffs alongside their damage.
  • Stun - Stun agents.
  • Support - Support and Defense agents.
Character Tags & Mechanics
Aftershock

Characters that either use aftershocks, or want to be used with aftershock team members.

Anomaly

Characters that either deal damage by focusing on anomalies, or those that buff anomaly.

Ether Veil

Characters that can create an ether veil and/or take advantage when a teammate creates one.

Expert

For characters that are the hardest to play.

Heal

Characters that can heal.

HP Manipulation

Characters that will lower and raise their own health to either buff themself, or deal damage.

Needs [Condition]

Characters who need either another character or character type to be effective (e.g., Soukaku needs an Ice DPS; Pan Yinhu needs a Rupture DPS).

PEN

Characters who are focused around PEN (currently Rina).

Second Attack

Characters that want to be paired with another attack character to support them instead of being the main DPS themself.

Sheer Force

For characters who focus around using Sheer Force for either damage and/or buffing.

Shield

Characters that create shields.

Stun

Characters that need the enemy to be stunned or has bonuses when used with stun.

Characters currently being tested or awaiting upcoming buffs in the next patch.

Claret

Watchlist Down: The newest character and also a brand new damage type; currently we don't have the best team members for Armorers, so she will get better with new character releases. The current meta has heavy lean towards Claret and the new Armorer class, but even excluding that from our view, she is still a powerful and compentant DPS who we think deserves a place in Tier 0, but only time will tell if she start to under perform compared to her peers.

Norma

Watchlist Up: Super powerful generalist stunner with some of the best buffs in the game, however she is only best for a few DPS characters, so we want to see her performance to determine whether she really is strong enough to move up or not; plus as the best Armorer stunner at the moment may help her, at least until a new stunner made just for the class releases.

Rina

Watchlist Up: Currently the only support built for Armorers, so she could easily raise a tier due to that fact.

Koleda

Watchlist: Recently gained buffs to make her a budget Armorer stunner, while she hasn't had the buffs long, she already raised two tier placements so she needs further testing and more characters to work with to determine her true value to see if she is better or worse than our initial decision for her new placement.
