Tier List Assumptions: All Limited 5-Stars are assumed at C0, Standard 5-Stars at C4, 4-Stars at C4 & C6, and characters with free Constellation at C1. All characters are evaluated with their best weapons equipped at R1 for 5-Star Weapons and R5 for 4-Star & 3-Star Weapons.
GENERAL INFORMATION
This is a tierlist that is more about character power and not the current meta. However, we do take the meta into account when deciding on the final placements of each character. So if some placements feel off compared to how good or bad a character is against the current endgame, it is most likely just because the current endgame cycle is good/bad for said character and not actually reflective on how good/bad the character really is.
This tierlist is also not for one endgame mode in particular, with Stygian Onslaught having it's own tierlist. If there is an additional new mode added in the future that is different enough from the current modes, then we will make a new tierlist for such a mode.
When deciding placements for a character, we will look for and account how hard a character is to play, as the harder a character is to play will have it be reflected as we place them, with the hardest characters getting an EXPERT tag. Although we take into account how hard a character is to play, we do still look at the character from the perspective of a player who knows how to play the character, but not from a player who is an expert at the character.
CATEGORIES & TAGS
- Tier 0: Best of the best, the most powerful characters of each section and easiest to play. Generally easy to build and have cheap team options.
- Tier 0.5: These characters have something that is keeping them out of Tier 0, but are still better than Tier 1. Can be seen as an extension of Tier 0.
- Tier 1: Generally, characters that are now a bit outdated and don't hold up as much as the newer characters.
- Tier 1.5: These characters have something that is keeping them out of Tier 1, but are still better than Tier 2. Can be seen as an extension of Tier 1.
- Tier 2: Characters that are still usable, but have multiple things holding them back, from a lack of buffs to just doing less damage or having a simpler kit than new characters.
- Tier 3: Weak and not worth using unless you really like the character.
- Tier 4: Weak and not worth using unless you really like the character. Needs a lot of investment to be good.
- Tier 5: Lowest tier, severely limited impact or niche role.
- DPS - The main DPS of the team.
- Supportive-DPS - Secondary DPS characters who provide buffs alongside their damage.
- Support - Characters who are pure supports with limited damage; generally healers and pure buffers.
